NCIN Showcase for Teleologic e-MDT Module

Teleologic are showcasing the latest release of our e-MDT module for Cancer Multi-Disciplinary Teams at the launch of the National Cancer Intelligence Network (NCIN) on 18 June 2008 at the Hilton Metropole Conference Centre in London.

As part of its remit to bring together all stakeholders involved in the collection and processing of cancer data, and thereby to bring about a quantum change in the information available to support the delivery of quality cancer services, the NCIN will be focussing on the pivotal role of the MDT.

The new e-MDT release from Teleologic is designed specifically with this objective in mind. Hospital clinicians and cancer pathway coordinators can use e-MDT before, during and after MDT meetings to view and update the latest patient clinical information.

e-MDT is a module of Teleologic PCS (Patient Content Store). Designed over many years working with NHS clinicians, PCS includes a built-in screen and workflow builder to ensure complete compatibility with every clinical department's unique profile. PCS is an integrated product developed in-house by Teleologic Ltd and fully supported by our technical team.

e-MDT incorporates the latest timeline viewer technology from Teleologic. Based on Web 2.0 concepts, the timeline viewer presents the user with an at-a-glance overview of patient care, with the ability to retrieve complete records on demand from a wide range of hospital systems, such as ADT, results reporting, cellular pathology and imaging, in addition to the library of clinical correspondence and discharge summaries maintained by the PCS system.
